Today, we pause to honor the memory of Cpl Matthew J. Broehm and Cpl Brandon W. Pearson, proud Darkhorse Marines who gave their lives in service to our nation. Fifteen years ago, on November 4, 2010, they were killed in action in Sangin, Afghanistan. Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion will never be forgotten.
